After so many great plays with lee sin last night, I've decided to main him.  heh... I was actually pretty surprised when I actually did have a few good plays on top of my many awful ones.  I don't think I was able to kill thunder by kicking someone into him - maybe next time.

haha- no - none of that is happening.  Honestly, I have no clue - he's suddenly really willing to be reasonable.  He's still pete, mind you, but becoming adaptable.  He's actually watching streams quite a bit and learning things as well.

I don't know about reasonable.  I mean, it took us like 2 games to convince him that maybe the optimal Syndra strategy actually involves attempting to CS a little instead of just going for stuns on the enemy champion ("I stunned him but I do no damage!").  Peter is still convinced that CS doesn't really matter in Gold V ("The only thing that matters is killing the enemy a lot"), but it seems that he naturally does it on Malzahar, so it kind of works out.

Also, while Peter does buy support items now, he makes weird choices.  I mean, he pretty much just plays mage support, but he always buys Coin.  But yes, that is better than blue crystal.

Tomorrow I will be heading over to Maui to see Thundercles. It should be an interesting week!!

Could you get that far with normal pete, though? Also, I'm going to practice lee by playing the next game with you fellas, refusing to jungle, and just running into lanes trying to work on my q's.  Get ready to get carried brah. 

Seriously, though, you've got to admit it's not as bad as it used to be, though.  I couldn't really reason with old pete much at all.

It might be a little better with Pete nowadays.  Exhaust over TP when he supports is really nice, kudos for convincing him of that.

But the reason I bailed on you guys to go play with Bainick and Marsh the other day was because he was ranting about how he didn't do any damage on the Alistar and wouldn't admit that possibly maybe perhaps an Ali with his ult up wasn't the best target for his full combo.  It's hard for me to queue up again with him after I have a brick wall talk like that.

I can only imagine what sort of nonsense happens when Pete plays without you Pacov.  When he plays with randoms, does he jungle with a Blue Crystal start instead of Machete?  "The key to jungling is having lots of mana..."  Then he can come back and play as a high Gold/low Plat level mid for you while bringing in Silver opponents?

Easy wins are fun but they raise your MMR and what comes up must come down.  So try not to get all frustrated when you queue up in non-Pete games after having some Silver Stomps.

Re: Lava Flows

The only Lava Flows on Maui are a variety of Pina Colada that have strawberry puree in them.  Lava Tubes are actually just underground caves where the lava used to flow way back in the day.

But we didn't convince him of anything.  He stubbornly refused to listen to us about it, then only changed his mind after he outright fed two games in a row.

Anyway, the Ali thing was because Peter didn't know how Ali ult worked.  He thought it gave some moderate armor/mr and wasn't listened when we told him it gave damage reduction to physical/magical damage.  Peter doesn't really understand a lot of game mechanics outside of some mids.

Pete admitted he didn't know ali's ult provided damage mitigation.... he was apparently unaware somehow.  It took him awhile to do this (apparently after you left).
