Hiya folks, So quick plug.  I just picked up WoW along with all of the expansions.  I've been pretty hestitant to get into MMOs, but I'm going to give WoW a shot.  If you have been curious about the game and would like to give it a shot with someone else that is inexperienced (and level at 3x the normal rate), respond here.  I think it would be fun to play with some of you stardock board folks.  Anyway, there is a free 10 day trial, so if you just want to give it a go...

OK - for those of you that play eve online, why would I want to buy this game and get a subscription?  I actually would purchase the game and I am interested.  Anyway, the graphics look great, but I'm not sure I'd love the game.  I haven't purchased a single MMO yet.  What do you think?  Thanks!

I recently attempted to update my PS3 to the latest version as required by sony for online blahblah.  The update failed and now I receive error code 8002F147.  I've gone through Sony's tongue in cheek joke they call troubleshooting (unplug the unit, wait a few minutes, then boot up again) but still get the error code.  I found a guide that indicated how to boot into safe mode (essentially holding the power button through a cycle of beeps), but I can't get to the menu.&...

I haven't ever been able to access the DG modding forum from forums.impulsedriven.com.  I'm wondering if its not set up correctly or what.  I tried the "flattened forums" option, but that did not help.  Does something need changed so that it can be viewed via forums.impulsedriven.com?  Thanks!

If you are from the DG community and picked up or are planning on picking up borderlands on PC AND would like to play some co-op, send me a PM or add yourself to this thread.  I picked the game up today.  So far, me and trouser will be playing but adding a couple more people sounds great.  I'm planning on starting to play tonight (10/27).  I'll still be playing DG, but think this game will be some fun.
